BYD Awarded a Major Order for eBuses in Hungary

BYD Fulfills Second eBus Delivery to Coimbra in Portugal
BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEV) and power batteries, has made a second significant delivery of pure-electric buses to the Coimbra Municipal Urban Transport Service (SMTUC) in Portugal. A further five 12-metre BYD eBuses were handed over to the Portuguese PTO, SMTUC, which was celebrated during a presentation to the public in Coimbra on 28th March 2022 in the presence of The Mayor of Coimbra, José Manuel Silva, and the Board of Directors of SMTUC, Ana Bastos, Carlos Lopes, and Miguel Fonseca, as well as Joaquin Bellido, eBus Director Iberia, BYD Europe.
BYD Sold Nearly 100,000 Passenger Vehicles Last December, Totaling Almost 600,000 Passenger NEVs in 2021
BYD Auto released its December sales on January 3rd, 2022. During the past December, BYD sold 97,990 passenger vehicles in total, with over 77.9% year-on-year (YoY) growth. Its annual passenger vehicles sales reached 730,093, up 75.4% YoY. And its annual passenger NEV sales grew by 231.6% YoY to 593,745, setting a new sales record in China. Specifically, the monthly NEV sales rose sharply by 236.4% YoY and reached 92,823 units in December.
Nottinghamshire Goes Even Greener Following Delivery of BYD ADL Enviro200EV Buses
BYD UK and Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) jointly announced today that their electric vehicle partnership, the UK’s leading electric bus producer, has delivered four 10.2m length BYD ADL Enviro200EV eBuses to Nottinghamshire County Council, the first two of which have now entered service in Mansfield. These are the first BYD ADL eBuses in this 10.2m size specification to be delivered to a customer outside of London. BYD is a global leader in batteries, energy management and electric mobility, while ADL is a subsidiary of leading independent global bus manufacturer NFI Group Inc. (NFI).
BYD Makes First Ever Delivery of eBuses to Bergkvarabuss in Sweden
