Second Generation of BYD F3 to be launched in June 2012
Shenzhen – Feb 3, 2012, BYD has announced that the second generation of its F3 model, named F3 Su Rui in China market ( best translated as ‘Sharp’), will be officially launched in June 2012.
Based on the current F3 model, the best-selling sedan in China for years since its launch in 2005, the F3 Su Rui delivers a dynamic exterior with smooth body lines and strong visual impact. It also features more BYD self-developed high-end technologies including a brand-new powertrain system and chassis, as well as other cutting-edge intelligent technology. Moreover, the F3 Su Rui has a longer wheelbase compared to the current F3, which makes it an A+ segment sedan and provides a more comfortable and practical driving experience for drivers and passengers.

After years of rapid development, BYD has committed itself to dramatically upgrading both quality control and technology development, and has been making great efforts to constantly improve the styling, design and manufacturing process. Benefiting from its cooperation with other leading automotive companies, BYD has absorbed many advanced concepts in manufacturing engineering and applied them to the manufacturing process so as to improve the car finish in many aspects, including the exterior design, interior workmanship, powertrain system as well as the electronic configurations. With this strategic model which well represents the philosophy of the BYD brand--“Technology, Quality and Responsibility”, BYD expects that the F3 Su Rui will continue the sales myth of the first generation of F3. As the first model independently developed by BYD, the F3 has been one of the best-selling models in China and has been granted lots of awards since its launch in 2005.
