Therefore, the company has announced strategic partnerships with leading automotive dealers: Louwman in the Netherlands, Hedin Mobility Group in Sweden and Germany, Nic. Christiansen Group in Denmark, RSA in Norway and Shlomo Motors in Israel. The initial phase is primarily focused on Benelux and Nordic markets.

BYD Expertise in Power Batteries and Pioneering Core Technology
It is world-leading innovation in technology that is integral to BYD’s electric passenger vehicles. Over the past decades, BYD has focused on mastering advanced technologies spanning cobalt free BYD Iron-Phosphate batteries, electric motors, electronic control systems and automotive-grade chips. Emerging from this considerable research and development is the ground-breaking Blade Battery which is revolutionising safety, durability and performance in the EV industry. This works in close synergy with BYD’s competency in electric powertrain technology (BYD has developed an ultra-intelligent next-generation e-Platform 3.0) for the ultimate in system efficiency and integrated vehicle intelligence. Combined, this integrated technology has been developed to deliver optimum performance and a better driving experience. Notably, BYD owns the vertical supply chain for seamless integration and total manufacturing control, including the production of semiconductors.
BYD: already experienced in Europe
The European market is not entirely new to BYD. BYD’s European headquarters are based in the Netherlands; its home since 1998 with branches in different European countries as well as a high-tech manufacturing facility for its thriving eBus business in Hungary. During this time, BYD has established numerous collaborations with European partners, and gained a thorough understanding of customer expectations in Europe.
BYD (Build Your Dreams) was founded in 1995 as a pioneer in battery technology. BYD is the first, and only company in the world, to provide full market new energy vehicle solutions. BYD’s mission is to change the world by creating a complete, clean-energy ecosystem that reduces global reliance on fossil fuels. Now the company also introduces a range of technologically advanced electric passenger cars to customers across Europe. Supporting this, is the formation of a network of key European dealer partners providing regional distribution, sales and aftersales services from local facilities as well as online web platforms. Driving this innovation in technology, BYD is committed to providing safe and appealing solutions that reduce pollution from carbon emissions and address the issue of climate change, supporting the initiative to Cool the Earth by 1℃.
