In order to enable the strong growth of our company, the sales, and marketing HQ of BYD Europe is looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team.

Your activities include:

• Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters

• Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices

• Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy

• Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence as required

• Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner

• Handle finance related queries

• Assist with end of year preparation and procedures

• Provide financial support to team members

• Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

• Coordination with other EU offices for financial issues

• Coordinate financial issues with BYD European offices

You have:

• Basic understanding of accounting and/or administration processes and procedures

• Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook and computerized accounting software

• Excellent English language skills as English is the corporate language, Dutch is not required

• Preferable experience of working within a finance department

• Detail oriented, precise and good with numbers

• Good organizational skills and ability to set priorities

• Able to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines

• Able to manage a high volume workload

• Ready to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision

• Analytical and with high problem-solving ability

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
